Kirsty-Lee Jones

Occupational Therapist

Kirsty-Lee is an Occupational Therapist within Evolving Potential working with children, youth and their families in Southern Adelaide and Strathalbyn three days a week and with and Potential Ability clients one day a week. Kirsty-Lee chose to redirect her professional path after working for 7 years as a massage and Bowen Therapist towards a role which encourages the development of skills in areas which have meaning to people’s lives and graduated from the University of South Australia in 2017.

Kirsty-Lee enjoys working with children and youth as she has a playful nature and a hopeful view of the world, which she utilises to support and nurture young people to reach their full potential. A natural interest in childhood development and attachment married with her own experience and knowledge as a parent of two young children herself, Kirsty-Lee understands the importance of her role in the lives of her clients and the influence her relationship has on their developmental trajectory and views Occupational Therapy as a field which has so much variety and opportunity to be creative within therapy. She also has a keen interest in supporting people across the lifespan, which has led her to diversify and work with Potential Ability clients also.

Interestingly, Kirsty-Lee has a strong interest in people’s morning routines! How people start their day and what they engage in to prepare themselves to participate in the world as well as what motivates them to engage with the world in the first place, and she loves to read and subscribe to blogs and social media pages that gives her insight into this.
