Taylor

Occupational Therapist

Taylor has a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Occupational Therapy from Flinders University and works four days a week with children, young adults and adults in the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu regions.

Taylor discovered her love for OT accidentally at an ‘Open Day’ at Flinders University when she was interested in another discipline but met an Occupational Therapy student who encouraged her to consider OT as a career. Taylor immediately felt an alignment with OT’s core values of helping people to live more independent and fulfilling lives, and it is safe to say she has never looked back.

Taylor discovered her passion for community-based occupational therapy during her university placements and a deep enjoyment of the unique connection and rapport that can develop through therapeutic relationships in the community setting. Taylor values supporting clients to overcome the challenges they may experience in their everyday lives and finds great fulfilment in seeing clients achieve their goals - whether it be a small step or a major milestone - and believes that the varied environments she has worked in all contribute to her knowledge and skills.

Outside of work, Taylor keeps busy with numerous hobbies that keep her active and creative, whether it is running and hitting the gym, or slowing down and enjoying reading, cooking, and crafts.
