You will find Ella travelling to provide services across the lifespan in the Fleurieu, Adelaide Hills, and Southern Adelaide regions
Ella is passionate about equipping and assisting people within their own environments and encouraging them in their passions and providing support in regional areas and is thrilled to be able to start her career after completing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at University of South Australia completed in 2021.
At university, Ella undertook placements within Mental Health (Acute Inpatient Services), Community Development (in Clare) and Aged Care (Residential) and worked on functional assessments, introductory sessions with clients on sensory modulation, equipment prescription, mobility assessments and group work, with additional experience with leading junior primary years at an annual Day Camp program and coordinating a youth group.
A driving force in Ella’s love of being an OT is being able to help people achieve their goals and having the privilege of being able to hear so many people’s life stories and enable people to complete tasks that they might not have been previously able to undertake. Ella believes being an OT is an extremely rewarding role with lots of problem solving and diverse experiences.
Ella is a sports lover, and plays netball, loves cooking and spending time with family and sneaking in a good book in her downtime – sounds good to us!
