Early Years pOTential Program

A specialised Occupational Therapy designed program led by our dedicated Allied Health Assistants. Targeted for children aged 3-4 years during the crucial early developmental window.

Foundational Learning Approach

It is widely recognised that early childhood is a crucial time for cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development, and that early intervention can have significant impacts on long term outcomes.

The Potential Ability Group is excited to share the opportunity to undertake our program to support young children in these developing foundational skills.

Benefits

The Program is designed to benefit children who require additional support in their development and will target key areas such as:

  • Fine Motor Skills
  • Sensory Integration
  • Gross Motor Skills
  • Social & Emotional Skills

Group sessions provide a safe and secure setting for children to share their skills, encourage others, and to work together to progress in their development, thus reducing the need for future intervention.

Program Example

This example program ensures children are regulated and ready to learn before practicing and refining a range of foundational fine motor skills.

Little moves are incredibly beneficial as they assist in regulating for children and making them ready to learn. They also develop critical fine motor skills required for life.

By having our Allied Health Assistants lead the sessions, we can offer this program at a reduced rate compared to the same service delivered by an Occupational Therapist*

*Price varies depending on number of participants.
